I'm at university studying BSc Computing at plymouth university.
I MAKE the time to keep up to date with CS, which usually involves me not revising. Ooops, o well it's only the 1st year, nothing hard about it!
I switch between living in plymouth (@ Uni) and in Gilwern (@ Home), both are in the UK tho.
I have 2 blogs, both of which are on www.nbdev.co.uk, which is also my development site, which I've had for near on 2 years now.
I've liked computers for god knows how long now, I think I got my first computer in 1994, which was a compaq. I was only 7 at this time, and I was already on it too much. In about 1996 I managed to pursuade my parents to let me have dail up internet access, and have been on the net daily since then. In 1999 I set up my first website for a friend, and things grew from there, moving from HTML, to PHP, to ASP and now finally ASP.net!
In 2003/4 I stopped making websites, to consentrate on my A-Levels, which went drastically wrong, but I still managed to get enuf of a grade for uni.
Along with being a CS MVP, I'm also a Microsoft Beta tester, with current test projects including: Office 12, Windows Vista, Windows Live Mail, Windows Live Messenger, IE7, and WMP11 for XP. Mind the last 2 are now open beta's. I was also involved in the Windows Server 2003 R2 beta.
I currently run, and manage a Server on my home network, which does everything, which might explain the slow speeds of my website sometimes, lol.
LONG LIVE CS!
