For those who do not know, SWSoft is the owner and licensor of Plesk.  Plesk is used for both Windows Server and Linux server management.  I've used HELM for a few years now and do find it a great tool.  I have also been using Plesk (for Windows) now for several months and once I got used to its interface I find it a better tool than HELM.  In fact I suspect using Plesk with Windows servers would make managing a Linux server easier for those that are not familiar with UNIX shell commands.  This aquisition is probably good news.  It's likely that SWSoft will not just dump HELM but will initially enhance its features and functions then gradually merge the two together.

I just wanted to say that I have choosen ASPnix as my hosting provider because you are 100% WINDOWS hosting provider! I don't trust companies offering both Linux and Windows hosting. These platforms are too different to be managed by the same personnel.

So I hope that after this deal Helm will remain the Windows-only CP, but will also include such great Plesk feaures like Folder Prmissions settings and multi-user access...
