    Question Backup Solutions

Do you backup files on your home or office computers?
What kind of backup software do you use and have used in the past? What's good and bad about it?

No problem. It's not about being lazy. Just asking...

    Anyone else does backups?

I know its not about being lazy. But i find if i do it one by one myself, I find it is more likely it won't be currupted. This summer I have a huge amount of files to transfer. Most likely will make a VPN to access it outside of my house.

I use Mozy.com for my backups. It does it automatically every few hours and on the selected folders. They offer 2 GBs for free on backups storage, but if you are a designer or developers you would need from 3 to 5 GBs as I do.

I've used Carbonite and cancelled them after a few days because it was extremely slow. I think they limit bandwidth so it takes many many days for first backup. I gave up after 4-5 days i think.

For local home computer I use backup4all. good stuff.
