    Question Web Deploy

    Is the MS IIS Web Deployment Tool support by aspnix? I haven't used the tool yet but I'm interested in testing it's capabilities for keeping web sites synchronized.

    Thanks!

    Rod,

    We have the Web Deploy libraries installed on our new systems (our new control panel uses this to deploy apps via the Microsoft Gallery). However this is not currently used (as we have no way of managing users at this time) for live deployment of apps from the customers Visual Studio etc.

    FTP is currently the only way at this time to upload applications and files.

    Ok, I can Publish my Silverlight 4 Web Application to my local drive, then ftp the site up my aspnix hosted site.

    However, I'm getting some errors.

    For example, it doesn't like this:

    <compilation targetFramework="4.0" />

    Says targetFramework is not recognized.

    Is there a FAQ or other info for deploying Silverlight 4 sites here?

    Thanks!

    It is not actually a new version of Helm, it is a completely new control panel built on WebsitePanel. You will need to backup all data (databases site files, emails etc.) and then please submit a ticket to our support department to request your current account be terminated a new WSP account be created.

    Thanks!
